How it works

How does a service call with Atlas Mechanical work?

You call or text and reach the owner, not a call center. You get a flat-rate price before any work starts, and the same tech who diagnoses the system is the one who repairs it. No surprise bills, no runaround.

STEP 1

Call or text us

You reach the tech directly, not a dispatcher reading a script. Describe the problem and get a real answer on timing, usually same day.

STEP 2

Flat-rate price upfront

We diagnose the problem and quote a flat-rate price before any work begins. You approve it first. No hourly meter, no parts you do not need.

STEP 3

Fixed right, by the owner

The person who quoted the job is the person who does it, with 20 years in the trade. Leak-tested, dialed in and cleaned up before we leave.

Why Atlas

We built Atlas Mechanical on the belief that homeowners deserve straightforward answers and dependable work—not sales pressure.

Boilers & radiant heat

Do you repair boilers and radiant heat?

Yes. Boiler service, radiant and in-floor heat, and hydronic systems are all work we do — and they are diagnosed and repaired by a tech who actually knows them, not handed off. Plenty of shops in the metro will only touch forced air.

A boiler heats water and circulates it through radiators, baseboard or tubing in the floor instead of blowing air through ducts. Different system, different failure points: a seized circulator pump, a waterlogged expansion tank, pressure that has drifted low, air trapped in the loop leaving one room cold while another cooks, or a zone valve that stopped opening.

Those symptoms get misread constantly, because a tech who mostly works on furnaces sees a cold room and starts looking for the wrong things. Older homes across the south metro are full of these systems and they tend to be worth repairing rather than replacing.

Gas boilers also have to be set for altitude, exactly like a furnace does — the burner is being fed more gas than the thinner air up here can burn cleanly if it is left on factory settings.

Cold spots and noisy pipesUsually air in the loop or a circulator that is not moving water, not a dead boiler.
Set for Colorado altitudeSame derating a furnace needs. A boiler left on factory settings burns rich and shortens its own life.
Flat-rate price before any workYou approve the number first, on boilers the same as anything else.
Repair quoted against replacementOlder boilers are often worth keeping. If replacing genuinely costs you less, we say so.

Good to know

Questions homeowners ask us.

Do you offer same-day service?
Yes, when the schedule allows. If your heat, AC or hot water is out, call or text (303) 601-1444 early in the day and we will do our best to get to you the same day.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Lone Tree, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Centennial, Parker, Castle Pines, Aurora, Golden, Evergreen, Arvada, Denver, Lakewood, Thornton, Broomfield, Westminster, Commerce City, Genesee, Indian Hills, and the surrounding south Denver metro area.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Atlas Mechanical is licensed and insured, and we are an Xcel Energy trade partner.
Who actually shows up to the job?
The owner — no call centers and no rotating crews. When you call you talk to the tech, and when we show up we actually fix it.
How does your pricing work?
We diagnose the problem and give you a flat-rate price upfront before any work begins. No surprise charges and no price book built to upsell you on parts you do not need.
Can you replace my furnace or AC, not just repair it?
Yes. We install high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps, sized correctly for your home and Colorado's climate.
Do you work on rental properties, not just owner-occupied homes?
Yes. Several of our long-term clients are landlords and property owners who call us for AC repair, furnace repair and plumbing across their rental units, not just their own home.
Do you service boilers and radiant heat, or only forced air?
Both. Boilers, radiant and in-floor heat, and hydronic systems are work we do, and many shops in the metro will only touch forced air. Common boiler problems are a seized circulator pump, a waterlogged expansion tank, low system pressure, or air trapped in the loop leaving one room cold. Gas boilers also need to be set for Colorado altitude, the same as a furnace.
Can you fix rooms that are always too hot or too cold?
Usually yes, and it is rarely the furnace. Uneven temperatures between rooms are normally an airflow problem, which is what air balancing corrects: measuring and adjusting the air each room actually gets instead of guessing at dampers. We also install and service whole-home humidifiers, which matter more here than most places because Front Range air is dry enough all winter to dry out wood floors, furniture and sinuses.
